I am available to provide lessons in Singing to anyone over the age of ten and Piano to anyone over the age of six.
I teach the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) syllabus, one of the most established and regarded syllabuses taught all over the world.
Singing Lessons deal with breath an vocal control in order to allow the best qulity singing from any pupil. As part of Singing tuition, I teach singing at sight and basic theory to allow the pupil to participate in singing with other groups of singers and / or instrumentalists. Piano deals with the fundamenatals of finding your way aoround the keyboard and correct technique in playing the Piano. I also teach, as part of these lessons, Music Theory.
Should you not want to take ABRSM exams, I am still perfectly happy to teach the above techniques, although I believe that the exams give any pupil something to aim for and a focus for the lessons, but whether a pupil enters an exam at any grade is up to the pupil.
Rates are competative and I am currently able to take pupils.
